I have work in two shows this summer, one in Alexandria, VA and one in Hampton, VA.

Drawing Analogies, at the Athenaeum in Alexandria, is a 7 artist showcase featuring the drawings of artists
Victor Ekpuk, Mindy Hirt, Sarah Laing, Beverly Ress,
Renee Van der Stelt, Alice Whealin and myself.

The opening reception is Sunday, July 17, 2011, from 4-6, and the show has been highlighted as the gallery opening of the week by Michael O'Sullivan of the Washington Post.
Drawing Analogies will run through August 28th, 2011 at the
Athenaeum, 201 Prince Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Also, in Hampton, VA, is the Virginia Artists 2011 exhibition. This show also opens on Sunday, July 17, 2011 with a reception from 1-3. The show is at the Charles H. Taylor Arts Center, 4205 Victoria Boulevard, Hampton, VA 23669.
